Really screwed everything all up, too.

PPT seems to think it's only for a week. To be honest, I was thinking "green jelly" myself about this. (And if that wasn't a waste of a plot, I don't know what is....)

But it seems like an awful lot of effort to go through for a drawn-out prank. It's probably just wishful thinking on my part.

In other news, I'm only about 20k from my NP goal. Not sure if I want it anymore, but....

I am upset. I have a Neopets account, but I forgot to login for a while, and now they want me to input my birthdate. I must have put it in wrong when I signed up, because it doesn't work, and now I can't access my NP or my pets or anything, and I HAVE A BABY BUZZ. >:

I don't, actually. I signed up when I was 18, and I had a terrible tendency to make up birthdates, because I was so paranoid about stalkers. I have the sinking feeling I may have done that here.

I suppose I could call them up and explain, but how would I prove I'm me? All my identifying information is readily available on my profile--that and (stalkers again), I have my gender listed as male.

Do you have any neofriends who you can contact (or have someone contact for you)? They'll be able to see what age you're claiming, and that would at least narrow it down to a single year.

This happened to me too. I decided to log back into my account last month after a long absence and it demanded my birthdate. just email them from the same email account you used to sign up with, and give them all the detail you possibly can (what battledome items your pet has, what is in your safety deposit box, your password, etc). They'll get back to you within a week.

Yeah, but the problem in not using that account for so long is that I've forgotten the password to it. Oops.

Has it been deleted? The super-sekrit way to access an old, deleted email account to get a password is to just make the old account again.

(Which yeah, doesn't work for every email ever, but it does work for hotmail and yahoo and the like.)

Get someone to neofriend the account to find out how old you said you were, then cycle through the dates which would make you that age.
