The Minnesotans impress me so much. It’s only in the 40s and 50s here and I’m finding it too cold

I know how hard it is to get people (including myself) to protest in this weather. Protesters here (Boston) last weekend were chanting "we're not cold, we're not afraid, Minnesota taught us to be brave." That first bit is aspirational (and hopefully inspirational), even with good winter clothing.

Yes, hats, gloves, and coffee/rum/biscuit supplies are the way forward.

I really admire the folks going out and protesting in -10 degrees wind chill. Getting frost bite is not a joke. Although I wish folks would be smart about it - and wear socks and gloves.
