In the past 40 minutes or so, that is.
And there's just one thing to take from what I've learned - quick climate change is a bitch.
Really.
So, again I say - the cause of climate change doesn't matter except inasmuch as we can lessen or eliminate it. What matters is how we deal with what's already happening. The damage is done. It's time to find ways around, and I don't see people, on a large scale, doing that.

Date: 2007-04-18 11:31 pm (UTC)Coastal areas (like NY state) are going to have a lot of cold, wet springs because, as the ice melts, it flows into the ocean and messes up with the currents - bringing cold, wet weather with it. This was predicted a few years before we started seeing it happening, so, yeah, I think global warming is still going on.
