If you catch me making a reply that's obviously to the wrong person, because I did it via the recent comments page, yell at me, would you? I shouldn't do that. Must go to the actual entry, read what the reply is in reply to. *nodnodnod*

Oh, and apparently there's some sort of problem with yahoo and gmail and comment notification emails - be warned.

Yikes! I'm so sorry!

I didn't realize it was completely forbidden to make those kinds of requests. (I'm old and unhip. Have mercy on my elderly cluelessness.) I just saw other strange icons posted on bookicons - guess I didn't realize they were all book-related - and thought I would try.

Oh, you're not banned. I said I'd do it if you did it again, but since you didn't do it again, and almost certainly won't now that I've posted my maintainer rant in the comm, I'm not concerned.

However, we do have a list of rules posted in our user info. I know, it's long, but you might wanna do a quick review of them. Most of them are about posting icons, so that's not a worry.

And I know a lot of them are strange. The idea is that you can post an off-topic icon (or request) if most of the icons (or requests) in your entry are on-topic. This allows for easy cross-posting. If you come up with a different request that's book related, you can feel free to post it with the original request.
