Guys? A favor...
Oct. 10th, 2005 08:45 pmIf you catch me making a reply that's obviously to the wrong person, because I did it via the recent comments page, yell at me, would you? I shouldn't do that. Must go to the actual entry, read what the reply is in reply to. *nodnodnod*
Oh, and apparently there's some sort of problem with yahoo and gmail and comment notification emails - be warned.

Date: 2005-10-11 10:24 pm (UTC)I didn't realize it was completely forbidden to make those kinds of requests. (I'm old and unhip. Have mercy on my elderly cluelessness.) I just saw other strange icons posted on bookicons - guess I didn't realize they were all book-related - and thought I would try.

Date: 2005-10-11 10:34 pm (UTC)However, we do have a list of rules posted in our user info. I know, it's long, but you might wanna do a quick review of them. Most of them are about posting icons, so that's not a worry.
And I know a lot of them are strange. The idea is that you can post an off-topic icon (or request) if most of the icons (or requests) in your entry are on-topic. This allows for easy cross-posting. If you come up with a different request that's book related, you can feel free to post it with the original request.
