So, I finally bought me a router. And I got it *all the way home* before I realized that I need ethernet cables for it to work. (It also can function wirelessly, but I need a something-or-other for that too, I believe)

I don't have ethernet anything. My modem plugs straight into my laptop or the big computer via a USB cord.

And I paid too much for this router, I know, I know.

Dang it.

So I haven't opened the box yet. I want to be able to return it if, say, one of my friends (or my Uncle Gabriel) should pop up and offer to send me a decent router with all the necessary accoutrements.

In other news, I'm apparently scheduled to take a CPE tomorrow at noon. There's no way. I'm babysitting tomorrow at noon. Besides, I'm fairly certain that I'm exempt from those or something, so I have to fix this. Damn mail service, fucking up when I get news of stuff.

What is a CPE exam?

Best thing is to call (NOT just email!) and explain tomorrow.

You are aware/capable of being here at 7, right? (Abdul is on the phone right now or I would call you.)

We are prepping lunch for the kiddo now. Lunch for you, this time I don't have dinner from tonight but there will defnitely be SOMETHING. Normally I think we will have dinner leftovers for you, or there's always pasta. Let me know, too, if there's something in particular you'd like me to pick up next time I go shopping for snacks for you or something.

$ may be 40 for now, 50 later (because while I'm a temp I'll be getting quite a bit less.) I hope that's okay? I still have to wait and review our budget limitations after we've both gotten paychecks, which will be at least another week minimum. But you can always take advantage of Abdul's Century 21 discount! (I could "pre-shop" for you to cut down on in-store time for you if you want...)

If you can get her AT ALL early tomorrow, it would be wonderful, but I know it's asking a lot, it's just I want to go over the daycare directions with you, and first-day-prep for me may be a bit hectic. :-/

1. Yes, seven. I hate you, but I'll be there. I want breakfast!
2. I always like bananas, tangerines, granny smiths... you know the fruit I like. There's certain cereals I like, but they may be expensive-er. Pasta sauce sans mushrooms is always good. You know what I like, really.
3. That's $40 daily, or weekly? And I'm getting paid back the $25 you owe t'm'ra, right?
4. That's not a bad idea. Pre-shopping sounds decent, as does going in really early when nobody is here.

1. What do you want for breakfast? I do have instant pancake mix and kashi (a hot, mixed grain cereal). I know you prefer real pancakes, but unless you REALLY will wash up everything, I'd prefer you not make them, at least not tomorrow, k?

2. The Pathmark bananas were anemic so I didn't get any. You can pick some up on you're way over and I'll reimburse if you want. I have some peaches, nectarines, plums, grapefruit, canteloupe and kiwis. Most are for the kid...I can see I will have to plan for more fruit. :-) Not a problem, I just try not to overbuy or things go to waste.

4. I will see if Abdul and/or Julie can give me a good idea of what times are least busy. Also, the dressing rooms have NO DOORS. So wear something you don't mind others seeing. They're these tiny cubes, argh. At least YOU have been warned - I wasn't afforded that luxury!

1. Eggs? Eggs aren't that messy.
2. Nah, the supermarket isn't open that early. In general, grapes I like too. Or peaches. Or plums, though I still think of the worms I had once in Belgium. I'm a fruit-monster! (I am also partial, as you know, to peanutbutter and nutella, or strawberry jelly)
3. Great, cool. I'd be thrilled to get more, considering how much time this takes up, but I know too much of your finances to ask for that. I can't gouge my own sister :)
4. Big. Towels.
5. *sighs* Better than getting lost. I need to work this out, it's possible it'll be cheaper for me to buy an unlimited from now on...
