What's interesting is that they define asexuality so narrowly. I think many people who identify as asexual would not define it as having no sexual interest in people, ever. I mean, that's true for some people, but not many.

What's also interesting is the 3% number given for the amount of gay people in the world. I realize that different groups tend to skew the stats, but I thought the accepted number was higher than just 3% of the population...?

i think 3% has to be a conservative limit based on people who were "out" and listing that they were "out" on the last census or something, if thats even an option. in every place i have been, approx 10% of the people show up to be homosexual. like at work for example, we have roughly 700 people working at my call center and there are about 65 homos/lesbians/bisexuals. same thing at kmart when i worked there. 70 workers, 8 homosexuals. obviously, you are going to find places with more and less, but i think 10% is a fair figure.
