People!

Earthquakes? So far, this year, we've had an average number of 'em. And an average number of deaths, too.

Hurricanes? Well, we already knew we'd be in a high-activity cycle, because that's what all the data of the past 100 years or so shows. And right now we're midway through the high-activity cycle. Joy. We don't know if the problem has been exacerbated by global warming, but let's wait for the known high-activity period to start fading before we jump to conclusions, 'k?

Flu pandemics? Nope, those go in cycles too. Every 20 - 40 years, which matches with what I've read elsewhere In fact, we're about overdue for one, which is why people are freaking out over avian flu right now.

It's not just one person. It's everyone. And it's getting on my nerves.

Yeah. The girls (very girly girls, bah) at work keep going on about how it's the earth trying to get rid of us... overpopulation, global warming...

bah. I hates it my precious.

How about, normal climatic and seismalogical (sorry about spelling) conditions :P

Sorry, wasn't suppose to rant... preaching to the choir :).

Yeah, and have nothing to do with earthquakes *sigh*. I keep finding myself tempted to point out just how much weight would be required to trigger one (ok, to guess the amount of weight). I just keep my mouth shut. I don't tend to want to get into arguements about the cause of all this shit. Particularly not as my work mates already think that I know practically everything *rolls eyes*
