Funny how the cities all ramble on about money....

I have noted elsewhere (here, in fact:http://www.livejournal.com/users/pope_guilty/193665.html ; read on, Macduff) that the "blue cities" have very little ground to stand on once you realize that the red states produce most of the food.

And you can't eat money. Nor wear it. True wealth is in having more than you need of what you need.

What it all boils down to is, we're stuck with one another. The people in Nebraska need computer chips for the control panels on their combine harvesters (have you seen the latest models?!?), and the people in Washington, D.C. need corn and potatoes and wheat on their plates.
