So, we went to the Children's museum today, took some pictures.

It was so warm out, we spent a long time walking around Snug Harbor instead of actually going into the children's museum. Wonderful, I got to take off my shoes. I *hate* shoes.

You know I don't mean to be rude, so:

What are the racial heritages of the babies? 'Cause, Ana is undoubtedly african-american when Seth looks totally white. Did the parents already have the kids and marry or... did I miss something? I just need to know.

They both have different parents. Completely. They aren't even related by blood. Seth is Lizziey's son, and Lizziey is sort of Conuly's adopted sister. Ana is the daughter of Abdul and Jenn, who is Connie's real sister. The babies are cousins. I think.

The pictures are adorable, Uly. They're very cute babies! And the children's museum looks fun.. I want to go..

The children's museum IS fun. When you visit, we'll manage a trip with the babies. It's got an area that has LARGE (like, interactively large) scenes from various books, and a little slide!

And another area where you can pull yourself across the floor on a raft, and climb up a bridge. That's always funny to watch, because halfway up the bridge "falls" down, and newbies freak. *giggles*

And all of snug harbor is beautiful, and it's really so much like Belgium. A lot of the buildings on Staten Island are (even the ones that are on a hill and have 30 steps just to get up to the front porch are!).

So come visit, bring other friend and her baby.

What Figgy said. Sometimes I call 'em the Twins because they were born within the same week, and they've shared breastmilk, but they're really not related at all.

Ana is the one who's actually related to me. You saw 'dul, he's her daddy. Jenn's my real sister. Seth's daddy, like his mom, is white.
