I had a dream, and I don't actually remember my dream but I do remember the phrase "lonely little loser with a lame pseudonym" and the only problem is that the word pseudonym doesn't start with an L.

There's gotta be a better word, I'm just not seeing it.

How about "alias"? Doesn't start with "l", but the alliteration is there.

I'd choose llysenw*. ;-)

But you might prefer leasainm.

* although technically the alliteration would be "hl" more like "a lonely" than "lonely" in many English accents (and I'd also replace "lame" as I dislike it in that sentence for several reasons).

Well, you'll get llareggub from me then!

I don't expect to produce precise wording when I'm tired so strict control of my sleeping vocabulary is not a goal, lol.

For a moment I thought your dream self had called up the lyrics to Lonesome Loser, but no your dream self is an original dreamer. I also thought of alias because depending on timing and pronunciation, one can lose the a.

Not to me, but I'm not a native speaker. To me it actually implies a different name of the same person.

If you're revising anyway, maybe "lousy" instead of "lame."

contemplates I don't think it necessarily does, at least for the length of the awesomely alliterated appelation.

"Lame last name?" "Name" breaks the alliteration, but there's the rhyme….

"lame username" isn't alliterative, but rhymes and has sort of the same meaning.

Edited to add:
Actually, "lame nickname" sounds even better to me with a rhyme and an alliteration of its own.

There's "nom de plume", of course...but it still doesn't start with an "L"
