Smelled awful, that'd be the remaining infection.

Took forever after he numbed me to calm down enough to let him pull it. I finally remembered I'd asked him about the x-ray vest and asked him again and that helped. I still didn't enjoy the process, but at least I was able to let him do it.

Also, I got itchy after being numbed, so we had to take a break while I ran to the bathroom to make sure there was no rash under my clothes. But I think that was just itchiness. I always get itchy over everything.

I don't feel anything yet, but presumably I will. Blech.

Oh, that's a good call, I should keep that in mind if I ever have major dental work again.

Relatedly, a friend of mine was yesterday years old when she learned how much epinephrine is in a shot of Novocain - specifically the formulation they typically use for longer procedures. If that was (or could be) part of the issue, you should be able to get a note added to your file specifying that you need Novocain without epi.
