but we have two red-tailed hawks in the neighborhood. We also have a turkey. As of today, I can confirm that the turkey is a mama. (Aw.)

I love hawks, but nevertheless, I hope they stay away from that adorable little fluffkin.

Red-tailed hawks definitely kill and eat pigeons as well as goslings, but I don't know details of your local bird population.

The pigeons can do whatever, and any geese around here can fuck off, but I like this little ball of fuzz.

IDK. Turkeys don't back down but geese are fucking scary. Do hawks really go after their young that much?

I only saw it once. And what I saw was the adult geese chasing off a hawk that had already killed a gosling, rather than let it fly off with the catch.
