It's crunch time!

What's everybody making for Thanksgiving? Any new and exciting recipes? Or, alternatively, tried and true faves?

I'm gonna do a duck again. Jenn pointed out that the kids don't like duck, which is fair, but they also don't really like turkey and one way or another I'm cooking a bird. I might do a chicken too.

At some point in late Nov/early Dec I do a Thanksgiving style meal to teach the kids about their American heritage, and also because I like it. Usually do ham (because turkey is for Christmas), mash, green beans, carrots and cornbread - lots of cornbread!

And pumpkin pie. I might try making a pecan pie as I've never made one, or maybe pecans would be good in stuffing.
