You know...
Jun. 18th, 2018 11:55 pmI think Moonpie is smarter than we've given her credit for. When I was ready to give her a bath* and I called her, she slunk down. And when Eva told her the other day to get "up" (on the bed), she ran upstairs to me!
Which means it's maybe a little bit silliness and recalcitrance that keeps her from sitting on cue. We need to motivate her better.
* Under Google's advice for recurring staph infections, she's on a daily bath regimen for the foreseeable future, and no tummy rubs without us washing our hands first. We'll see if this helps. Poor baby! If it doesn't help noticeably in two weeks we'll have to go back to the vet, and neither of us wants that. At least she doesn't seem to be in discomfort, itching or anything like that. She's not scratching or licking, I mean. Then we'd have to go to the vet now whether she liked it or not.
