Yes, the only reason to care about marginalized/vulnerable/less-fortunate people is so that you can abuse them for your sexual gratification. Dude, thank you for showing me your ass cock priorities... no, actually I think the second one was correct.

I've heard of them but I don't watch most Emmy-nominated shows. From the survey list, I've seen some episodes of This is Us and Atlanta. I didn't like Breaking Bad so there is no reason to watch the spin off. I refuse to pay for premium cable and streaming services. In my opinion, I already pay too much for cable and internet. If and when shows hit my library DVD/streaming services, I'll watch 'em. I'm an old so I don't mind being a few years behind the times.

I'm afraid the window has already closed on global warming. It depresses me but I don't know what to do about it.

That third hand cigarette smoke article is getting printed out and handed to my brother and sister. My sister is a KINDERGARTEN TEACHER WHO SMOKES. She can't smoke at work, obviously, but she smokes in the car driving to work. The residue is all over her clothing. I have asthma and it sounds like I'm putting my health at risk just being in the same room with her. SHE LIVES WITH MY MOTHER! Good God, if my mother finds out about this, she'll forbid her and my brother from smoking on the patio.

Neat re: solar panels. I just was informed about 3D-printed crystal and how it allows a much better control of light refraction. Made me wonder if this sort of tech can be heightened further once they bring this knowledge into play.

I've been reading a lot on the microbiology associated with soil, from microbes to fungus to even ancient Mayan fertilizer. It's all so fascinating to keep seeing this learning process grow especially given how a few years back we were all going crazy over algae bloom in bodies of water.

The Sang generation sounds like something I was expecting for awhile. I feel like all the exportation of Chinese kids into primary and secondary Western institutions is just guaranteeing this to happen. A lot of these kids are not going to come back bringing the results their parents are wanting and my own experience with them was that a lot of them lived up their title as "strawberries."

I thought the most interesting thing for me regarding Motel 6 was how Tom Bodett was trying to offer some degree of damage control about this with a fairly tepid response. It has been updated, though I can't help but think the damage has been done.

The Emmy results are nothing new. I still remember when 30 Rock was earning awards left and right but was still struggling for ratings. 30 Rock, for crying out loud! And they not only had the backings of being on network television, but basically had the backing of the network for awhile just because of the sheer talent that pushed it. It wouldn't surprise me if Parks and Rec and other high-profile classics just don't have the same popularity compared to simpler fare like "The Big Bang Theory" or "2 Broke Girls." This might be the sign of a coming divide in terms of audience circles, and I can't really complain since I am loving these shows that I know I wouldn't normally get to see otherwise.
