My limit is not how many words I can read, in any practical sense, but how many depressing news articles I can process without wanting to literally knock myself unconscious.

I understand, and yet... I hate feeling ignorant even more. I guess I'm just another depraved masochist.

PS: The cockatoos are clearly on my side here (not that there's really sides, but there can totally be sides if I get to hang out with cockatoos), as they used logic to solve problems but stopped when brain overload hit.
