Urgent, need advice

I found out why the nieces aren't getting better as fast as they ought to be. They should've been taking their medicine 3x a day, but when they were with their dad (past three days) they were only taking it 2x a day.

What do I do? Do I drag them into the doctor now, or wait until their mom gets home and make her do it? Or not bother and just start giving them their medicine on their normal schedule and ask for a refill on the prescription when we have our follow-up appointment in a week?

This is going to sound massively stupid, but the pharmacist is really cute and I didn't want to sound like more than a ditz than I already was going to sound today like showing up with a month-old prescription for ADD meds to fill. (I misplaced it. In a cookbook. Honestly, the prescription isn't for me.)

I decided to sound like an idiot to the pediatrician instead. He's older and married and anyway is an expert at letting people say absolutely ridiculous things without making them feel bad.
