But other people *are*, and they keep accosting me in Hallmark stores and asking me to "sniff this" and "sniff that", so I figure that if I post this around a bit more people will buy candles online and less will be around to harass me in stores. Hopefully.

Gah.

Defense expert witnesses testified Wednesday that Schragger's pedophilia was exacerbated by Asperger's Syndrome, a rare neurological condition similar to autism and characterized by poor social and communication skills.

And...? Let me tell you something about the world. Usually, people with poor social and communication skills aren't trusted with kids, not for overnight sleepovers, regardless of whatever desires they may harbor. So already I find this one hard to believe. On top of this, it doesn't matter how poor your social and communication skills are, this does not hinder your ability to know and understand the law.

And another article. You can't post unscreened unless you're a member.

Urg.

Our Women's Studies prof didn't show up. At all. This is *after* she gives me a lecture about how Attendance Is A Very Important Part Of This Class. Yes, even the little words were capitalized. So after 25 minutes or so, we left, leaving a note about how the "15 minute rule is in effect". Actually, I'm not so sure that BC has a 15 minute rule, but whatever.

Well, I have several hours to kill. Yay. Hey, question. How can I tell if my computer has wireless internet capabilities? I asked this before and forgot the answer....

*feels silly*

I'm not entirely sure that the service was as bad as he says (though the comment at the end was out of line), but that's not the point. I could be wrong here, I often am. The point is that this guy has a crazy idea that if you don't like your job, you can just leave and get a better one. If your boss isn't paying you adaquately, you can just call in the authorities and everything will be all right, because there's this law.

I'm not sure if I'm laughing or crying here, but whatever I'm doing, at least I'm doing it in the real world.

The more I say spongebob/buster, the more I want to see somebody write some bad fanfic. Or good fanfic, whatever.

These are crappy examples, but the point should be clear. And the list, no doubt, goes on. And on. And on and on and on.
