Only a minor correction. The running man was Richard Bachman who was Stephen King :0) Film was okay. Book was the biggest load of tosh I've ever read.

i liked the book way more than the movie. but to be honest, i only got through about 15 minutes of the movie before i gave up on it. :)

I saw the movie and then read the book - which was probably the wrong way to do it. Now, I more often read the book first. 'tis the reason I have yet to watch Green Mile. The book blew me away and I'm reluctant to watch the film. Normally, film versions of Stephen King books suck way beyond suckiness.
