The conservative answer to Ben and Jerry's. Well, maybe. Except that Ben and Jerry not only have at least a few ice cream names that have nothing to do with politics (like Chubby Hubby and Chunky Monkey), their cartons are better drawn. And their names are somewhat more creative.

Honestly, am I the only one who thinks that they should've had a professional writer and/or artist go to work on these? They're just making themselves look bad...

Can't comment on the flavors, though, haven't tried them. And every constituency is entitled to sell ice cream, I certainly won't stop them. And, well, given the low wages and the cut in governmental benefits to the returning soldiers, I have nothing against supporting private organizations that help the armed forces. I don't see this as a conservative cause, more of a humanitarian one.

As for the ice cream, I think I'll stick to good ol' Ben and Jerry's. Love that Vermont frozen dairy, mmm....

And I agree, they needed someone to review those labels before they went to print. They're just plain ugly.

Is that a joke? If so, it's a really unclever one... I don't understand how "prale to the chief" is a compliment while "berry kerry" is an insult.

I didn't realize that ben and jerry's has political ice cream at all. But then again, I don't eat ice cream, so I am not on top of the ins and outs of it all.

A lot of Ben and Jerry ice cream flavors are named after "liberal icons" like "Cherry Garcia". And a portion of their profits goes to support various liberal causes. Not a huge portion, but some.
