Yesterday, we were all happy that the miners we didn't even know were alive. That's always good news, right?

Today, 10 minutes or so before I had to get up (and those minutes count!), she wakes me up "CONNIE! Don't you have to go somewhere? Oh, and the miners are all dead."

Just what I need to hear in the morning.

Tomorrow is supposed to have a high temperature of 46 degrees. We are making it to the museum. Or possibly the zoo... I dunno. Probably the museum, though.

The Memphis paper had a headline today reading, "Miracles do Happen" and went on to report 12 of the miners were found alive. Way to fact check.

The Salt Lake Tribune had the same thing. I think they just didn't get the update in time.

And how the mixup happened is going to be its own story for weeks to come, of course...

I think the saddest part is the Mining officials knew it was wrong much sooner than they told anyone, letting the families celebrate. It's just a very sad story.
