1. There wasn't nearly enough Starbuck in this episode. That is to say, there wasn't any Starbuck in this episode.
2. Ditto for Boomer, whom I rather like, aside from the evil cylon thing.
3. Crashdown is an idiot. Not sure he deserved to die for that, though.
4. Hail to the Chief for summing up Why This Isn't A Democracy in three sentences or less. Even though Crashdown was being an idiot, and about to get them all killed.
5. I do agree with TWOP on that part, though. He was just a little *too* competent. Baby birds, sandals, he could do anything! So why was he on Galactica in the first place? Shouldn't've he been on a better ship if he's so gosh-darn capable?
6. Cally wanted to become a dentist? I'm now officially frightened.
7. Everybody on this show is so frighteningly religious. What's very interesting is that apparently, religious beliefs have some connection to where you grew up - Geminons are just assumed to all believe in the literal truth of scripture. If this was a relatively open society, and people travel from one world to another, isn't it possible that at least a few Geminons don't think that scripture is literally true? Maybe some of them are even areligious! Gasp! Horror! Even in the Bible Belt, there are a few atheists.
8. I have no real coherant thoughts other than that I want the old theme song back. I looked forward to it, and now it's all gone. Sniffle.
Oh, and I've long since been developing these tiny pinpricks of blisters on the tips of my fingers. They're hard, and they don't act like blisters until I finally get annoyed and stab them with a needle. I don't feel it unless I touch the skin outside of the blister, and water dribbles out once the blister is stabbed. I wonder if I should worry about this.

Re: Skin Bubbles
Date: 2005-07-30 12:04 pm (UTC)As I say, my own case is minor: I once managed to scratch half of my left palm into a red scaly scabbed mess, which prompted my Dad to start calling me "Rameses III", but now that's completely cleared up. Your case may be minor (I hope so!) and I recommend you go to the doctor only if these basic precautions don't deal with it:
- Cover up the bubbles with plasters
- Resist urge to peel off plasters
- Scratch over the plasters if it ever feels itchy
- Use lots of handcream whenever convenient
- Try not to think about it or examine your hands too much
If it still persists to the point of being bothersome, definitely see the doctor as you may require antibiotics. Very good luck!

Date: 2005-07-30 12:14 pm (UTC)It's not bothersome at all, just... I noticed it, and now it pricks at my mind. Please stop talking about itching, though. While my fingers don't itch, it's making my legs itch.
