Anybody need a slightly crippled cat?
May. 12th, 2005 11:03 pmIt's more stupidity that seems to be harming this poor baby, sounds like.
God, I don't know why I bother posting these. It's like clearing a hole in a sandy beach - it just fills right back up again.

Alas, trying to get the kitten across an entire continent so it could go to someone without the resources to care for it isn't the solution. But I hope someone will take in and love the cat.

I'm a bit more pragmatic about it now than I was a few years ago, though. Don't go around lecturing everyone and their mother, or wringing my hands. I do volunteer at the Potter League (http://potterleague.org). That's an improvement, I suppose.
I need to remember to ask if the 3 legged cat Padraig every found a home... he was sweet. But I'm kind of afraid of the answer. He was a cat I wanted to adopt, but I'm only supposed to have one cat where I live (though my landlady is kind enough to let me have 3).
But spreading the word certainly can't hurt. That was my point. Yep. :)
