Lol I was just about to comment on that very same thing. Alfred Parham, assistant principal, comes from the Hillbilly School For Administeraters: "They're not supposed to use them for conversating back and forth during school because if they were allowed to do that, they could be text messaging each other for test questions."

What is conversating?
How is "back and forth" conversating different from any other?
How is it like text messaging?
What prevents kids from walking up to classmates between classes and asking them about test questions personally?
This is so ill-thought out it makes me want to barf.

Then again, I did get detention from the principal my senior year for taking my shoes off on school grounds. When I was graduating, I wore flip-flop sandals and kicked them off as I was walking across the stage to shake the principal's hand. I hope this kid gets to graduate, and I hope his mom calls him just as he gets his diploma.
