Marrow. Y'know, from bones. Is there an easier way to get the stuff than to actually cook meat of some sort and then spend an age breaking the bones in any way possible?

Love marrow. Usually break the bones when I'm eating fried chicken and eat that. mmm.

I think most real butchers still sell marrow (i.e. at a real butcher shop instead of a grocery store meat counter.) My grandmother used to buy the stuff and spread it on toast :-P

'S another great reason to be Australian. Lamb forequarter chops with huge chunky marrobw bones right in em, cheap. $13 aus a kilo. Fry em up, cover em in mint sauce and eat em. the suck the goodness out of the bones. YUM!

Erm, I think if you boil bones in water for a while, the marrow leaches out...
