And I have some thoughts.
First, the brothers were lucky that their father basically disappeared from their lives once he decided to commit to a life as a villain. Bea was unfortunate one there - and I get that she was clearly a somewhat troubled teen before she met him, but still, his presence did not help.
Second, I kinda want all the various Holmes sisters from the various not-canon series to meet up and exchange notes.
Third, you know, it'd actually be more shocking of an idyllic family scene didn't portend hidden betrayals, if for a change the family really was as happy and close as they appeared.
I will not comment on the blatant lack of any kissing between Sherlock and Moriarty, only to say that next season, this series clearly should be Young Moriarty, since his descent into darkness is the more compelling story. He's hooking up with the wrong Holmes sibling!
(And, uh, now that Bea has killed her father and reunited with her mother and brothers, will she so much as write a Christmas letter to her adoptive parents? Because if not, man, that's cold. Even for her, it's just cold.)
