Hogan isn't a particular surprise. I saw that video of ppl at RAW booing him when he was trying to sell his stupid beer & my first thought was he looked like shit...

Wrestling is hard on the bodies of those who participate in their stunts. That he was been around this long says something about how well he's managed his body.

Based on how he's chosen to live the last parts of his life, I think it might be more accurate to say that he's "Hollywood Hogan," the persona he adopted when he went heel for the New World Order storyline in WCW. Entirely possibly that he's always been "Hollywood Hogan" outside of the ring, and therefore that's the best way to remember the man, even if we let "Hulk Hogan" exist as some semi-mythical entity in the wrestling pantheon.
