Does it produce anything?

I had a grapefruit tree in a pot (originating as a sprouted seed I found in my breakfast grapefruit) for something like twenty years; it grew to about four feet tall, but never produced a flower, much less a fruit.

Yes, it produces fruit, that's how I know what it is! I've never heard that neighbor speak English and I'm not even sure he does speak English, so I can't ask. Presumably his (adult) kids do, but I haven't had any conversations with them either.

A monumental monument. When I first saw it there were the remnants of a Ukrainian flag (the current one) painted on one leg but it seems to have worn off now. I'm thinking someone should restore it for extra layers of meaning.
