I don't believe there will be a large protest in Boston tomorrow. The space near City Hall is thoroughly blocked off for the marathon, and many downtown public spaces are being used for Patriots' Day celebrations or semi-commercial street fairs. There will be a bike rally gathering in Paul Revere Park at 10am Saturday. Not sure how many will wear Minuteman garb as they ride to Lexington, or what they will shout as they cross the bridge into Medford town. I'm not up for long bike rides these days, not even in a good cause.

Meanwhile, someone borrowing Ben Franklin's old alias of "Silence Dogood" has been projecting messages on the Old North Church, including:

"One if by Land, Two if by D.C., "Let the warning ride forth once more, tyranny is at our door," and "The Revolution started HERE and it never left."

(I saw this on Universal Hub.)

In NYC, they are meeting in Bryant Park again, at the NYPD Library and putting words on the Library Steps. I'll see if I can find where I read that...I think it is around noon or 1 pm, since folks are meeting at my church in Brooklyn to head over there around 11 AM tomorrow.

I found it - in my Church's newsletter:"An artist is encouraging folks to bring one of the banned words that can’t be used in grant proposals or on government websites and to place it on the steps of the main library."

Banned Words - via the Doofus (honestly can lightening just strike his golf cart already? Preferably with him in it? I'd settled for a tiny meteor strike? Or a miniature tornado? Ugh)

In Madison, the rally is at noon, on/near the State Street steps of the capitol. People are being encouraged to shop the farmers market on the square beforehand, if they want/need to. Civic participation meets support of local vendors and family farms... which is really one in the same thing, isn't it?

The following was posted an hour ago to https://www.facebook.com/50states50protests

We have reason to believe that events on 4/19 and/or the 50501 Movement may be misrepresented by the Trump Administration in an attempt to justify the use of military force.
April 19 is a Day of (Community) Action centered on mutual aid, community care, and civic engagement.
Any portrayal to the contrary is a deliberate distortion intended to undermine our message and suppress our broad, growing support.
We are aware of specific and credible threats involving aggressive policing, ICE presence, and even the potential deployment of military force against peaceful demonstrators—in Washington, D.C. and other locations on April 19.
For clarity: 50501 DC is hosting a peaceful community aid event in Franklin Park. We are not connected to any actions taking place at Lafayette Square, the Naval Observatory Building, or the Washington Monument. We cannot vouch for their safety of plan, and we are not affiliated with their protests.
Participants should be prepared for an increased law enforcement presence. In some locations, ICE agents may also be present. We urge everyone to stay grounded, remain peaceful, and prioritize de-escalation and safety for all.
Remember, de-escalation, mutual care, and disciplined non-violence are our greatest strengths.
We keep us safe.
