Last night it snowed, even though it's July

And then I fell asleep and had a dream adventure, during the course of which it snowed, and I thought that was odd, in my dream, because after all, it's July. And then I woke up and realized that it probably hadn't snowed, except it had, which is strange for July.

But in retrospect, I think all three of those snow events were actually one very long dream and I had my A/C turned too low. It was all a bit confusing.

I could try but realistically I wouldn't succeed because I have a paywall bypass extension in my browser and now I don't know what's paywalled or what isn't anymore.

I'll look into getting one of those extensions I think.

If I were that mother in the Atlantic piece on helicopter parenting, I would have had WORDS for the officious old people in that opening anecdote. They interfered with someone else's child. They DETAINED someone else's child. They ARE "stranger danger."

Can I ask you a favor for the future? Can you try emphasizing with html rather than with all caps? It's a bad habit to break, I know, but it really is an accessibility issue. Aside from being harder to read for everybody, all caps does weird things with screenreaders.

Of course! All caps is a very old habit and html really is much better. I will work to pay attention to breaking that habit.

My father has spoken several times about the year it snowed in July up here in Maine (where the month on the calendar doesn't matter when it comes to weather). He was growing tomatoes to sell to local stores when the snow came. He quickly covered his crop and saved it from the heavy, wet snow that fell briefly that July day. However, he wound-up getting grounded for it. Why? In his rush he grabbed the first thing he saw to save the tomatoes, the bed sheets his mom had just hung-out to dry.
