I'll admit it. A solid 12% of the reason I read news articles is because

I'm looking for That One Guy in photos of groups of people. It doesn't matter if the photo was taken today or in the 1890s, it doesn't matter what the caption says they're doing, be it working in a factory or listening to the teacher, sooner or later you're bound to find that one person who isn't doing it and is instead staring directly at the camera.

One of these days I'll have go make a compilation of just those photos. Just for fun.

I don't know if there are any in this collection of links, but let's find out!

There was a meme about that one guy from Good Omens, just a background character in one of the scenes who wsa staring at the camera, grinning widely. Ah, and now I want to watch Good Omens again.

I know! And I only found it through happenstance - somebody posted on /r/whatsthatbook saying a friend is a fan of the author and wanted to know if she had any short stories, and so I googled for her bibliography and instead I got that article.
