I've been running around the underworld trying to find every last Yiga outpost so I can read their diaries.

And also take their schematics and bananas, but mostly I want to read their diaries. There was one where the Yiga who wrote the entry waxed rhapsodic about how wonderful it was to ride a Stalhorse. Dude, I'm right there with you. There was another where the Yiga praised the supply depot down the road from their underworld lair, and said that he'd write them a thank you note if they weren't long gone.

Sometimes I just want to find a random Yiga and hug them. I know, I know - they're murderous members of a death cult, but they're also personable and relatable, and if you're dressed like a Yiga they won't attack you, they'll just chide you for being in uniform while they're trying to trick Link. (And if you do attack them when, say, they're pretending to be a tree, they'll tell you off but not fight back. Because that'd break their disguise.)

I'm dawdling in the game. Accidentally set up two miniboss fights (in Zora's Domain (btw, is Yona metaphorically fishy? I have a sense that maybe she is not quite what she seems) and Death Mountain) and fled the scenes. I just entered the Gerudo area and passed what appears to be a normal Yiga townhouse door with a little Yiga frog statue to each side. Needs potted plants, maybe a seasonal wreath.

The current mission is simply to get enough hearts not to be oneshotted by every random moblin; I prioritized stamina at first.

Ingredients seem rather scarce in this game. No durians? Endura carrots scanty. And former truffle-rich areas are not, while underground truffles are much rarer. So it's difficult to get either extra stamina wheels or hearts.

Endura carrots can be found by every pink tree. The Zora boss fight was actually hilarious and you should get to that.
