Listen, protag...
Sep. 7th, 2020 10:33 amI'm glad you got married. Yup, you thought it'd never happen, and now it's happening.
But... I don't know, I think it's a little skeevy that the dog you rescued is now your boyfriend, and he's going directly from sleeping in your bed as your dog to sleeping in your bed as your husband and omg are you still calling him by his dog name!?
Maybe spend some time getting to know each other as humans first? A few months? Or weeks? Or... hours, even? A few minutes? ANY TIME AT ALL?
Okay, well, I guess that's happening.
(But, honestly, stop calling him by his dog name. No, seriously, stop. People will talk. I mean, they'll talk anyway, but why give them so much to talk about? STOP.)

It took me a minute to realize you were talking about fictional characters in a book and not a real person. LOL! Whatever book you are reading - it sounds unintentionally, hilarious.
