Aw. Sorry to hear that.

I did know she was still around, because people kept using her (on Twitter) as an example of someone surprising that was still alive. (Mostly when they started talking about Beverly Cleary, who is *also* 104 years old, but still currently alive.)

And I met Beverly Cleary when she was merely 65, and came to speak at my library school. Which had also been her library school.

What I didn't know about Olivia de Havilland is that she grew up in the town next to the one I did.
