Two things I have learned today:

1. The FBI's motto is "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity". It's cute what they did there.

2. If you prefer (or can only get) ear loop masks but aren't such a fan of what they do to your ears, there are things to keep them from doing that. Human ingenuity and the can-do spirit is a remarkable thing.

My wife made me a cloth/button ear-saver. They're great for increasing tension to make sure you're breathing through the mask. My problem is, any style of ear loop is terrible if you wear hearing aids.

Those Etsy things that Conuly linked? Someone at my wife's observatory used their personal 3D printer and made something very similar. Didn't work well for me, so I'm going to use the cloth/button thingy that my wife made and move it between multiple masks when I go back to work Monday.

When I bought my tentacle mask online (from Chibi Yeti), I also bought a couple of 3D-printed thingies that are basically a giant S-hook. Works okay with masks with elastic loops, like they sent.

oh thanks for the ear loop extender link. i had no idea those existed and occasionally tire of resembling either darth vader with the black stick on mask or dumbo with the "pull off ears" mask

Stick on mask? Mine all have tie straps - I just can't even with loops.

Yes! Spidertech tape with my own filter. They are my favorite mask so far because I have to wear one so long and it gets uncomfortable. Just check out their website

The guy who did the voiceover for that went on to do the ones for Police Squad! in exactly the same droll tone.
