If that's so, I certainly hope they paid top dollar. I'd hate to think she only got paid a pittance for lying like this.

I saw that story here, which includes this line:

'AKA Jane Roe finds documents disclosing at least $456,911 in “benevolent gifts” from the anti-abortion movement to McCorvey.'

Only half a mil? It sounds like a lot, but it's not as much as all that.

Considering she was pretty broke, and being Jane Roe paid nothing at all? It's a lot of money.

The anti-abortion movement unravels bit by bit. This is just more proof that they've bot nothing but lies to support their 'cause'.

To be honest, I'm actually upset for the true believers. Because there are some, who honestly think that they're the good guys here, and they're the ones who've been lied to.

When I first saw that headline, my reaction was similar, although it landed in "I hope she took them for as much as she could get out of them for it." and didn't really think too hard about the morality of accepting the money and shilling for a position she didn't believe in.
