The ice cream truck came by yesterday

Either ice cream trucks are an essential business, because they sell food I guess, or he had gone rogue. Whatever, he wore a mask and buying ice cream cones was honestly the most exciting thing to happen to us since March. Better yet, it's the good kind of exciting.
(Except for the part where he was out of rainbow sprinkles. Bah.)

Date: 2020-05-18 11:14 am (UTC)Are ice cream trucks purely privately-owned, privately-owned franchises of The Company, or entirely owned by The Company? I think the first is unlikely; the other two possibilities explain why there's generally only one truck in an area, but replace that question with why there is apparently only one ice cream truck COMPANY in a geographic area.
Curious economic conundra.
