Left-handed women's quirk over sense of smell

I clicked on this expecting it to be about super-smellers

I am left handed

and I have a bloodhound like sense of smell

it's actually really annoying

as it comes paired with smells = migraine triggers

Same. Literally bloodhound, I have a "party trick" where I can, at times, wander through a house about 10 minutes after someone my brain has accepted as "pack" and follow their path through the house, smelling the air where their scent lingers. It's kind of like a corridor/ hallway? I dunno.

The left-handed women and the sense of smell one is interesting. Many many moons ago I did a uni psych assignment about left-handedness, and there are a lot of interesting details like that associated with handedness, and quite a proportion are gendered. There was some suggestion that the gendered differences have to do with the construction of the ?corpus callosum, which tends to be larger in women (possibly and left handers?), but it is so long ago I'd have to go and do the reading again.
