Both of which re-enforces gender-specific stereotypes in the home and outside of it as males continue to act like household tasks and duties are not within their realm.
None of these issues might have been mentioned in the article, but yeah, I'm exhausted, and if not they should have been.

Date: 2020-03-22 07:17 am (UTC)What's needed during a super-contagious viral outbreak (traditionally/stereotypically that's gendered housework, mostly) is only re-enforcing gender stereotypes and deepening existing inequalities - which the article does seem to cover (read every word, though not until much later) which only highlights the need for feminism as it stands and more feminism until it's no longer needed (ETA on that, though: never).
