Also, it seems to me that Moya is absolutely enormous. They rattle around in there. Even their cells are huge. Given how often they're short on food, out of food, hoarding food, talking about that time that they were rationing food, or otherwise reduced to subsisting off of crumbs, you'd think they could save themselves a lot of effort if they rigged up a garden on one of those empty levels and bought some seeds. Sure, they're probably totally incompetent at farming, but without weeds, bugs, or weather to worry about they'd probably have enough to keep them from starving to death.
