This one was a little incoherent and didn't get around to telling us who was doing the conspiracy to fake wildfires (and surely it's a lot easier to conspire to start wildfires than to fake them?) but I bet the answer was the same.
I once read a very funny parody conspiracy article claiming that Wyoming did not exist. Why are all the cities in Wyoming around the edge? was one point from it I do remember. Come to think of it, that's also true of Australia.
i didn't hear the one about wyoming. i've heard people insist that nebraska doesn't exist. if you live there or have visited/drived through it, it's really kansas or something.
I live in Colorado and have investigated this issue myself. Wyoming does not exist.
I went on a camping trip somewhere with some cactuses, and people claimed it was Wyoming.
There are some national parks that extend outside of Montana. I have visited the town of Jackson Hole, attending a rodeo there; but Wyoming is not a real place.
*scratches head* I live in New Zealand and smoke / ash has been coming over from Australia. A few days ago the South Island had orange skies in parts. Glaciers and mountains are a bit caramel coloured now.
But you haven't actually seen the fires with your own eyes, right? The "smoke and ash" were put up there by a bunch of radical Socialist tree-huggers to make it LOOK like thousands of square miles were on fire, in order to justify their government takeover of everything. But the ash isn't really plant matter at all; it's made from aborted fetuses, a convenient way to cover the tracks of the Left's attempt to wipe out the white race by killing all its babies.
I have grand capitalist dreams of having the next series of Survivor or something similar filmed there, with climate change deniers and conspiracy theorists as the contestants, all chosen by "random" selection from the auditions.
But then it starts getting too Hunger Games and I realize it's a bad idea.
Actually, I read this article about one of the Sandy Hook parents who, before his son was murdered, used to be "really into" conspiracy theories. And now he's been specially targeted by Alex Jones etc. because he's devoted his life to taking him down.
There was a telling quote that's stuck in my mind. The way he described it, all that conspiracy whackjob stuff was almost like an addiction. He said that even now, sometimes he finds himself thinking the way he did then, wondering if maybe his son was the only one and all the others were faked. Even though that's utterly batshit, and he knows it.

Date: 2020-01-04 12:21 am (UTC)Personally, I would happily have them all literally die in a fire over here... Better them than the guys who actually have died.

Date: 2020-01-04 11:40 am (UTC)Wyoming is entirely surrounded by land, and has little water of any kind except snow. So its cities being all around the edges is more odd.
