Date: 2019-07-07 10:32 pm (UTC)~ Roll up a big damp bath towel and put it in the refrigerator, to wrap yourself in delightful coolness when you need it.
~ Freeze wet washcloths in zip-lock baggies, to apply as needed.
~ Get a bag of ice, put it in a cooler with some water; stick your feet in there.
~ If you've got fans going, hang wet towels in front of them.
~ Keep a spray bottle of water in the fridge; apply liberally to face and loose cotton clothes.
~ If you've got to walk a long way in the heat, soak your loose cotton clothes pretty thoroughly before you start - they'll be dry by the time you get there, and you'll stay cool.
