conulyHurting and hurting every time I wore shoes. Turns out that the scab (which was the size of a good-sized pebble) wasn't firmly attached. Once I picked it off I endured a day of having an open wound again and then it scabbed up at a nice small size. And now I can walk a goodly distance again! It's improving steadily every day and should be totally normal by Monday. Which means I can stop taking the bus and start walking again! Good for my budget, good for my health.
