My mom has (or had) the whole Peanuts collection, starting with a first edition of the first book, and I read them in that order. Yes, the earlier ones are much better. Like many cartoonists, he aged from revolutionary to normative.

I know 4 Luxembourgois speakers personally. 3 girls and their mother, their mom was from Luxembourg and she spoke it to them at home and they then spoke it with their extended family as well. IDK if they taught it to their kids, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Could be. I don't think I knew anyone who talked about speaking Walloon when I lived in Belgium (or it could be that it was close enough to French that they didn't feel like bothering us furriners about it).
