The Petsmart had doggie costumes at $2
Oct. 31st, 2017 03:01 pmWhich is quite a discount from $25! So I bought a few of those. Then at the counter I saw they have Halloween themed dog treats at 50 cents, another very steep discount. The dogs like two of the flavors I picked up, so I'll go back and stock up later. You can never have enough dog treats, honestly.

Date: 2017-10-31 07:38 pm (UTC)True indeed about the dog treats, especially if you're working on training consistently. I always break treats up into the smallest possible bits - they're just as effect as rewards that way, but make up a much smaller percentage of the dog's diet, which can mean quite a nutritional difference for small breeds.
Happy Halloween; hope you all have a great time!

Date: 2017-11-01 12:02 pm (UTC)They're used to being put into clothes - they have to wear sweaters in the winter, so we just put them in clothes year-round. But the capes were too floppy! I'm saving the costumes, and sometime between now and next year I'll sew the capes to the shirts halfway down, so they can still flap but they won't flop over entirely.
No pics yet, but I'll see if Jenn will take some tomorrow or the day after.
The Zuke's treats are already tiny, and these are shaped like ghosts!
