I was in Michael's today and they still had dog costumes AND they were 70% off! Also, fall-themed decorations in general including some of those super fancy wreaths they sell and centerpieces etc.
There was a cute strap-on giant spider for a smallish dog, big plush spider on a wide piece of elastic that's supposed to go around the dog's middle (yeah, that's going to work for three minutes tops), which I spent some time trying to figure out if it was worth buying to make a fascinator out of. There were also full outfits for doggies. 70% off $20, so $6. If you have a Michael's in striking distance, worth checking out.
