and apparently Neopets now allows you to have five pets.

Why couldn't they have done this back when I was really invested in the game!?

(Actually, I probably would still be at least a little invested if they were still making new worlds and new games and new whatever, which a glance at the front page shows they're probably not doing.)

I remember reading an article about Neopets and how it seems to be more of an archive of people who talk about the old days. I'm kind of surprised it still exists. Impressed, even! I feel like so much of the site even outlasted the start and end of Adobe Flash.
