The weather, I mean. It was hard to enjoy it, though - we get nice weather like that every time Texas has a hurricane.

Now the storm part has hit us, or at least the drizzle part. And it looks like it's gonna last all week. I wasn't going to pull out my lightbox until September, but I brought it out today. It can't hurt.

I remember, probably a decade ago now, that a hurricane that was supposed to hit Texas pretty much broke off, barely touched Texas, and then sat as a not-even-a-tropical-storm over my area (Great Lakes) for three or four days of epic rain.

And all I've been thinking is 'nooo, we would have taken it again! send it all here~!'

(I mean, I think we did get the fringe? I know there was flooding on the freeways about an hour south last night, and it's been raining decently, but... we could have taken more, nature! We can handle it!)
