Hopefully, no more than four years from now we'll be able to look back, pat ourselves on the back for getting through it, and see the humor in everything.

In fact, as I pointed out to a friend who was joking about assassination, if you check out the presidential succession law, you'd have to take out damn near the entire cabinet and a few folks in Congress to not have a problem person in the White House.

At which point, the cure is most definitely worse than the disease.
